SAN RAFAEL, Calif., March 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Autodesk, Inc. (Nasdaq: ADSK) announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.06 per share on its Common Stock. The dividend is payable April 20, 2001 to shareholders of record at the close of business on April 6, 2001.

As of January 31, 2001, the Company had $422.5 million in cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities and approximately 54.7 million shares of Common Stock outstanding. Autodesk reported net income of $28.4 million, or earnings per share of $0.51 on a diluted basis, on net revenues of $243.0 million for the fourth fiscal quarter ended January 31, 2001.
