Autodesk Anounces Final Quarterly Dividend
SAN RAFAEL, Calif., March 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Autodesk Inc. (Nasdaq: ADSK) today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.015 per share on its Common Stock. This cash dividend, which is being paid for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2005, is payable April 8, 2005 to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 25, 2005. As the Company has previously announced, Autodesk will discontinue its quarterly dividend after this payment.
As of January 31, 2005, the Company had $533 million of cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities and approximately 228 million shares of common stock outstanding. Autodesk reported net income of $66 million, or $0.26 per diluted share on a GAAP basis, on net revenues of $356 million for the fourth fiscal quarter ended January 31, 2005.
