Honors for Autodesk's Innovative Technology Solutions for Building Industry

Autodesk, Inc. (Nasdaq: ADSK), the world's leading design and digital content creation company, today announced that it was awarded the Cadalyst Magazine Best of Show Award for Autodesk Architectural Studio, its conceptual design and presentation tool; and Autodesk Buzzsaw, its online project collaboration service for the building industry. The two awards were presented this week at the A/E/C Systems show in Anaheim, California.

Cadalyst chose both Autodesk products for their innovative use of technology and value add for architects and building project teams. Specifically, Architectural Studio, combined with pen-based hardware technology, replicates traditional hand drawing techniques, which stood out to Cadalyst. The Buzzsaw service was chosen for its use of Internet technology as a vehicle to connect building team members, regardless of their location.

Autodesk recently introduced new features to the Buzzsaw service including advanced external reference (XREF) support that ensures all project team members are working from the same set of drawings.
