(Nasdaq:ADSK), the world's leading design software and digital content company, announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.06 per share on its Common Stock. The dividend is payable October 19, 2001 to shareholders of record at the close of business on October 5, 2001.

As of July 31, 2001, the Company had $432.7 million in cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities and approximately 54.1 million shares of common stock outstanding. Autodesk reported net income of $19 million, or earnings per diluted share of $0.34, on net revenues of $231 million for the second fiscal quarter ended July 31, 2001.
