(Nasdaq: ADSK), the world's leading design software and digital content company, announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.06 per share on its Common Stock. The dividend is payable January 18, 2002 to shareholders of record at the close of business on January 4, 2002.

As of October 31, 2001, the Company had $427.6 million in cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities and approximately 54.8 million shares of common stock outstanding. Autodesk reported net income of $21.5 million, or earnings per diluted share of $0.38, on net revenues of $216.4 million for the third fiscal quarter ended October 31, 2001.
