"Emergency response professionals now have access to crucial data and analysis at their desktops and in the field," said Chris Bradshaw, vice president of Autodesk's Infrastructure Solutions Division. "Autodesk Crisis Command and Autodesk Mobile Command combine technology and services to help emergency professionals prepare for, respond to, and manage disasters."

Both products extend the functionality of Autodesk MapGuide(R) software, Autodesk's web-enabling solution (sold separately). Autodesk MapGuide provides direct access to spatial data stored in Oracle9i(TM) Spatial format. In addition, this provides support for integrating and accessing most relational databases via OLE DB and ODBC, including SQL Server, Microsoft(R) Access, dBase, and more.
