World's Leading Architecture and Interior Design Firm Enhances
Client Service and Consultant Coordination with Autodesk
                     Building Lifecycle Solutions

Autodesk, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADSK), the world's leading design software and digital content company, announced today that Gensler, a global architecture, design, planning, and strategic consulting firm, has established a strategic relationship with Autodesk to work together to improve design and delivery processes in the building industry. Considered by Fast Company magazine to be one of the world's most influential design firms, Gensler's work has garnered many awards, including top honors in the Business Week/Architectural Record Awards for 2002. As a valued Autodesk partner, Gensler is making a continuing investment in Autodesk building lifecycle solutions and participating in shaping future product development.

"Autodesk is recognized worldwide as a leading provider of building industry solutions," said Ken Sanders, FAIA, chief information officer at Gensler. "By collaborating with Autodesk, we'll be able to accelerate our initiatives to deliver more tightly integrated design and construction services to our clients, which include the sharing of rich, reusable data with consultants, builders, owners, and users. We expect Autodesk to continue to play a key role in supporting innovation within the industry."

As part of its strategic relationship with Autodesk, Gensler recently made a significant commitment to the Autodesk building information modeling platform by purchasing licenses of Autodesk(R) Revit(R) and Autodesk(R) Architectural Desktop in addition to AutoCAD(R) software. For management and sharing of data authored in these applications, Gensler will continue to use the Autodesk (R)Buzzsaw(TM) online project collaboration service.

"Gensler has set remarkable standards for 21st century design practice by transforming the very notion of the architect's role," said Phil Bernstein, FAIA, vice president of Autodesk's Building Solutions Division. "The company has proven how design can powerfully reinforce clients' core business strategies. Gensler's work with us will be invaluable in determining the future directions of our building industry solutions."
