Digital Design Environment to Streamline Project Development from Concept to Facility Management

Autodesk, Inc. (Nasdaq:ADSK), the world's leading design and digital content creation company, today announced that it has teamed with TRIRIGA INC. to provide Wynn Design & Development with a digital design data environment that will manage the development of Steve Wynn's multi-billion-dollar Le Reve hotel casino and resort planned for Las Vegas. TRIRIGA is a leading provider of business automation software for the hospitality, aerospace, and design/build industries.

The combination of Autodesk Architectural Desktop used with TRIRIGA Intelligent Business System (IBS) represents a major shift toward an intelligent design framework capable of streamlining all phases of a project's life cycle -- from concept to facility management.

Wynn Design will use Autodesk Architectural Desktop to manage all aspects of the design phase for the Le Reve project. Architectural Desktop uses intelligent architectural objects to create a virtual building model in which all information is dynamically linked and automatically updated to reflect the latest design changes. This model-based design intelligence can be extended throughout the asset life cycle, ensuring accuracy and reducing cycle time.

All design objects developed in Autodesk Architectural Desktop are seamlessly linked to TRIRIGA IBS, which will help Wynn drive all subsequent phases of development, construction, and procurement. Built on a unique Design to Operation (D2O) methodology, TRIRIGA IBS offers a centralized, web-based software platform and suite of integrated tools to automate and streamline all aspects of a design/build project, including specification management, cost estimating, and procurement.

The Le Reve project includes more than 50 specialty design firms and about 200 subcontractors, along with the entire Wynn Design & Development team.

Wynn Development also uses Autodesk ProjectPoint, the company's online project collaboration service, to ensure that everyone involved in this project can communicate with each other and has instant access to the latest project documents and drawings.
